Academy of Aero Modeling & Robotics

The Academy of Aero Modeling & Robotics is an initiative of IST Foundation   Guwahati, to popularize STEM education (Science, Technology  Engineering & Mathematics) among school students, to help them develop 21st century skills like; Creativity, Critical Thinking, Communication and Collaboration.

It is working with a motto to develop scientific and engineering mindset among school students in the early stage of their schooling. It also provides curiosity based learning solution to engage more students in research and higher education in science and technology. It has introduced Aero Modeling and Robotics Club facility in many schools and “Sunday, after school hobby centers” in Guwahati. The students of the academy participated in many programs organized in the state of Assam and has been awarded.

Recently, a group of student participated in a national symposium organized by Centre for Educational Technology, IIT Guwahati, and demonstrated their skills in making AI Robots and Dynamic Aero Models. Prof. P.G. Yammiyavar, Head, CET, IITG, awarded the students and inspired them as ‘future scientist’ of Assam. He appreciated Mr. M F Haque, the founder of the academy for his wonderful initiative and passion to work with the children.

AAMR supports schools and institutions, to inspire students for innovation and creativity by workshops on how to integrate textbook knowledge and innovate. It aims to help your child take a more progressive approach to unlock their interest in learning, using digital tools, tailored curriculum resources and hands on activities.

It provides courses on Robotics, Aero Modeling for class III-XII, workshop for school/college and engineering students, creative club facility for institutions, NGOs and workshops on automation and embedded system. It also prepare students of age 9 to 17 years for competitions like; Indian Robot Olympiad, Indian Robotic League, FIRST Lego League and World Robot Olympiad, etc.
